Wanetta Ayers has been executive director at Commonwealth North since 2019 but has recently been hired as executive director of Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference, a regional organization that works to promote the interests of local governments, communities, and economic development in Southwest Alaska. Jennifer Johnston will be acting Executive Director while the board searches for a replacement executive director.
Sen. Lisa Murkowski is looking for a new Energy and Natural Resources ;egislative assistant. The position is in Washington, D.C. and applications are being taken until Dec. 6. Find out more here.
