UFOs or trigger-happy?
Four items shot down in eight days. One of them in the “known spy balloon” category, and two are in the small, metallic balloon category with tethered payloads.
Distraction?
In an age of artificial intelligence, we keep a part of our brains ready for things being not what they seem. The national frenzy is focused on UFOs, but what is it we are not looking at? Biden blowing up the Nord Stream gasline? Hunter Biden? Ukraine?
Across the North Slope on Sunday, workers shot video of an Air Force jet circling and circling, looking for something. We’re told this was a C-130. We’ve posted some of the videos on Twitter and Facebook.

UFO? Unknown object over Montana closes air space
An unidentified object in the air over Havre, Montana prompted officials to issue a NOTAM, an air space closure, near the border with Canada on Saturday. The area is in roughly the same same route as the China spy balloon that crossed Alaska and Canada one week ago, before entering the United States in Montana.

The skies were empty over Deadhorse, as a highly unsual Federal Aviation Administration flight restriction was been placed around Prudhoe Bay, Deadhorse, and Kuparuk. Then, fighter jets took down an unidentified flying object.
Breaking: Third unidentified object shot down — over Yukon Territory this time, at request of Justin Trudeau
A third unidentified object has been shot down by an Alaska-based F-22 fisher jet, but this one was over the Yukon Territory in Canada. It was requested to be shot down by Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully hit the object, Trudeau said.

It’s a balloon, or it’s not a balloon. It was the size of a car. But we’re not sure what size of car. If the Pentagon knows what it shot down over the Arctic Ocean, it’s not saying. At this point, it’s still in the category of an unidentified flying “object” that was north of Prudhoe Bay until taken down by an F-22 out of Elmendorf.
