Tuesday: Anchorage Assembly to get an earful from pro-Hamas guy
A Marxist denouncing aid to Israel and supporting terrorists who kidnap and rape women will have his say at the microphone before the Assembly on Tuesday, asking them to formally condemn Israel. It’a all part of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and its support for Hamas. The Assembly may want to beef up security.
Fox, meet henhouse: Anchorage Assembly cutting Election Commission out of ballot challenges
While the public is not paying attention, due to holiday parties and such, the Election Commission about to be handcuffed by the Assembly. The commission is the third party to which observers can take complaints. With this change, the Assembly will lock in its control of elections in Anchorage.
Anchorage Assembly to ask Legislature to support dismantling Eklutna power supply to Anchorage
And if making elections less secure is not enough, the Assembly wants Anchorage to disconnect from Eklutna hydro. Then, on the next page they ask the Legislature to help them get more power to the community. You can’t make this stuff up.
