Who won Matanuska races? (Spoiler alert: Some good news for conservatives)
And that time the FBI didn't bust an Anchorage pervert and instead focused on Jan. 6 suspects

Mat-Su Borough election results look strong for conservatives
Just when you thought all was lost, the Mighty Mat-Su delivers an election result to remember. An early results look.
How about the races nationally?
Ohio voters confirmed that the Supreme Court got it right. Voters themselves chose (sadly) abortion rather than the lives of unborns, but at least they did it at the state level. Ohio will become an abortion magnet. The last chapter on abortion has not been written, however. Check this morning at Must Read Alaska for some good news on the gubernatorial and other races around the country.
Rep. Peltola stays true blue to pro-Hamas congressional reprobate
Speaking of voting, Rep. Mary had a chance to vote against the “from the river to the sea” anti-semitic member from Michigan once again, but the truth is, she votes with Tlaib 80% of the time anyway, so why stop now? Alaska’s Mary '“river to the sea” Peltola does it again.
We appreciate all generous Alaskans who keep this conservative enterprise going!
FBI forgot about chasing an Anchorage child porn purveyor, and focused on Jan. 6 suspects
The weirdo had a history of online chats with an FBI agent posing as a guy pimping out his own son. The chats were really gross, and the plans to rape the kid were illegal. It was even more illegal when the pervert allegedly shared child rape porn videos. The Statement of Facts from the agency, included in this story, paints a terrifying tale, especially when the case was simply dropped by the FBI to focus on Jan. 6 suspects, including innocent patriots in Alaska. It appears this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Mr. Popular: Dunleavy is fifth from the top in latest poll
Morning Consult polls are always fun to ponder, but most interesting is to see how much damage the Democrats inflicted on Dunleavy from 2018 to 2022, and then how he simply rebounded in popularity, now that they stopped their continuous bombing, and now that he can’t be taken out in the next election.
(We’ve got to give credit for his popularity where it’s due: Scott Kendall, Andrew Halcro, and Dermot Cole, the Dunleavy trio of haters who have done nothing but make him more appreciated by the People.)
Five years
Just an almanac note, Nov. 7 was five years from when Alaskans removed Bill Walker from office and elected Mike Dunleavy as governor.

Washington thought it would tax its billionaires. One just packed up
Suzanne Downing’s Daily Caller column this week: The more you tax something, the less you get of it. Alan Greenspan said that … Bezos just proved it true.
Question of the week: How much have you changed your spending habits in response to inflation? One day left to vote.
Poll: Americans want spending cuts, but not enough to help budget
The $31 trillion national debt would barely be trimmed by cuts at this point.
Manifesto of trans school shooter shows targeting of white kids
The local police are now trying to find out who leaked the manifesto so that person can be arrested for giving the public what it is owed — information.

Quote of the day
“I’m reminded of the Michigan GOP event I spoke at two weeks ago, when I told them what it must mean for the amount of ground we’ve lost when ‘there are only two genders’ is now our applause line. Similarly, when ‘we held Mississippi’ is now our big election night win.” - Steven Deace
This day in history
Nov. 8, 2013, the Philippines endured its worst natural disaster when the country was struck by Super Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful cyclones ever recorded.

Hamas’ attack on Israel was pure evil: Kidnapping, maiming, torturing, raping, and terrorizing a people who have been traumatized and bullied by brutality for generations, and there’s no putting a spin on it.

Until the tunnels under Gaza are destroyed, there can be no end to this conflict.

With all we know about the vaccinations and children, it appears that our Department of Health has the wrong priorities. Alaskans desperately need vitamin D, so why are we ignoring that?

Not all attention is good attention, and when it comes to Joe Biden and Alaska, the attention we get is, shall we say, unwelcome.
