Dallas Seavey for the Sixth
Dallas Seavey battled and ultimately shot an angry moose, then was penalized for two hours because he didn’t sufficiently gut the moose, per race rules. He dropped an injured dog at a checkpoint. (The dog, Faloo, was flown back for two surgeries, and lived). He gave courage to his traumatized team, and went on to win his record-setting sixth Iditarod, exceeding the record holder, Rick Swenson. A reminder: Dallas was the youngest person to ever win the Iditarod, in 2012, when he was 25. His first Iditarod was in 2005, the day after his 18th birthday. There are not many Alaskans who have such bragging rights as Dallas Seavey of Talkeetna.

Robert Hur defends report on Biden’s memory, handling of classified documents
“My task was to determine whether the President retained or disclosed national defense information ‘willfully’ – meaning, knowingly and with the intent to do something the law forbids,” Hur said. “I could not make that determination without assessing the President’s state of mind. For that reason, I had to consider the President’s memory and overall mental state, and how a jury likely would perceive his memory and mental state in a criminal trial.”
