School superintendent won’t allow Dr. Ben Carson inside Mountain View Elementary
Superintendent Jharrett Bryantt, upon learning of the engagement at Mountain View Elementary School, said “nyet” to the campus visit by the famous brain surgeon who is now an advocate for education. What gives?
Update: During the Tuesday school board meeting, Anchorage School Board member Dave Donley asked Bryantt what board policy he had based the decision to block Carson from the schools, and Bryantt said there was no policy, that it was just a judgment call. Donley then asked Bryantt if he would let Vice President Kamala Harris speak at a school after doing a fundraiser for the Bartlett Club (Democrat club). Bryantt hemmed and hawed and said his decision would be made case by case.
