Trump indicted again
It is hard to keep up with all the indictments of former President Trump, and the DoJ is not done yet. It’s close to 50 charges so far, among all state and federal complaints against him.
The latest ones pushed the Joe and Hunter Biden corruption scandal far down the news feed.
Trump was not charged with seditious conspiracy. He was not charged with insurrection. He was charged with dissenting, for expressing an opinion that the election was rigged in 2020.
The Department of Justice has thus criminalized an opinion shared by millions.
Oh, and the judge assigned to the case? An Obama appointee who used to work at a law firm associated with Hunter Biden, she handed out the harshest sentences to all 11 Jan. 6 protesters who came before her bench. A native of Jamaica, she was confirmed in 2014 by the Senate, including Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Of the Jan. 6, events, she is on record saying, “This was a violent attempted overthrow of the government … and it almost succeeded.”
