Sliding into spring in Juneau
After seven years on hold, the Eaglecrest Slush Cup returned on Saturday for the final day of downhill skiing in Alaska’s capital. It featured a 100-foot pond skim, barbecue, beer garden, and a live DJ. Eaglecrest has had more than 400 inches of snow this year.
Anchorage received another 5-20 inches of snow, with people on the hillside reporting 10-20 inches.
