Day 15 of Alaska’s ballot counting: RCV repeal tightens again, Begich and Trump gain ground
More ballots will be counted Wednesday, the final day for counting.
Day 14 of Alaska ballot counting, and suddenly the repeal of ranked-choice voting is losing
The Division of Elections reported that out of less than 4,000 absentee votes counted from Anchorage, there was a massive 1,400-vote swing that went against repealing ranked-choice voting.
Gavel Alaska will have live coverage of the 2024 Ranked Choice Voting tabulation on Wednesday at about 5 p.m. Watch on KTOO 360TV statewide or at http://ktoo.org/gavel.
After tabulation, final results will be posted in the handful of races that went to ranking. The election will not be certified until Nov. 30, but challenges and recounting will take place in December.
That’s right, one month after the election they will still be battling over ballots.
